ISI’s collaborative forums bring together practitioners who are putting Envision to work in the real world. Focused by sector or owner type, these groups provide a platform to swap ideas, compare notes, and crowdsource smarter solutions. Explore how these communities of practice are empowering practitioners to drive meaningful change across the built environment.
The Envision and Airport Forum began in 2022, thanks to the leadership of Carly Shannon (Linx Strategies) and Keri Hewitt working with ISI. The Forum brings together a variety of professionals using Envision in their work on airport projects. Representatives from airport organizations and agencies are invited to join this forum, attend meetings, and access forum resources. ENV SPs can receive one hour toward credential maintenance requirements.
Purpose
To learn and share information related to Envision utilization at airports. The group serves as a space for professionals to learn, exchange ideas, share best practices, network and expand connections, and develop tools and strategies for advancing sustainability using Envision.

Leadership
Co-Chair: Courtney Gantt, Consultant, Env Stewardship & Resiliency, RS&H
Courtney is a Sustainability and Resilience Consultant at RS&H and serves as the firm’s Envision leader with experience leading sustainable design and construction efforts on a wide range of aviation and transportation projects including runways and taxiways, roadways, parking lots, and energy generation projects. Most recently, Courtney led the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU)’s first verified project, the Park Economy 3 Expansion Project, which earned Envision Platinum. With multiple years of experience in energy, environmental, and sustainability roles, she is able to provide insight into the interdependence and synergies between environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives. Courtney also helps clients develop sustainable and resilience design standards, participates in construction management and administration, and contributes to tracking and documenting sustainable outcomes through ESG reporting.

Juan Martinez serves as the Sustainability Coordinator at Salt Lake City International Airport, where he leads sustainability initiatives that advance resilience, efficiency, and environmental stewardship across airport operations. With a background in sustainability, Juan has overseen projects ranging from waste diversion and green concessions programs to infrastructure design that meets Envision and other sustainability standards. He brings a collaborative approach, working with stakeholders to integrate sustainable practices that benefit both the traveling public and the broader community.
