ISI’s collaborative forums bring together practitioners who are putting Envision to work in the real world. Focused by sector or owner type, these groups provide a platform to swap ideas, compare notes, and crowdsource smarter solutions. Explore how these communities of practice are empowering practitioners to drive meaningful change across the built environment.
The Envision Maritime Forum began in 2020 as the Envision West Coast Maritime Working Group, thanks to the leadership of Keven Bartoy (Washington State Ferries). In 2025, ISI reimagined the group as the Maritime Envision Forum, and we are currently taking the opportunity to expand participation globally. Representatives from port and maritime organizations and agencies are invited to join this forum, attend meetings, and access forum resources. ENV SPs can receive one hour toward credential maintenance requirements.
Purpose
To connect port practitioners and build collaboration around Envision and sustainability. The group serves as a space for professionals to learn, exchange ideas, share best practices, network and expand connections, and develop tools and strategies for advancing sustainability using Envision.

Bio: McCartney is an experienced Environmental Health and Safety professional, sustainability leader, and certified Maritime Port Executive (MPE). She works for Georgia Ports Authority as the Corporate Sustainability Manager, collaborating with businesses and stakeholders to maximize environmental and health programs. Formerly the Sustainability Manager for Georgia Southern University, she has diverse experience including consulting for the United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and as a Regional Manager at Sandals Resorts International. With a broad international background in the US, Caribbean, Latin America, and the UK. Tiffoni holds degrees in Environmental and Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering, and an MBA.

Securing Our Future Through Climate & Energy Resilience
Summary: Learn how ports can adapt to an already changing climate and help lead their region toward climate readiness and long-term resilience amid warmer temperatures and changing storm intensity and frequency.
Speaker Bio: Giles Pettifor is the Director of Environment and Sustainability for the Port of Hueneme, where he is responsible for overseeing the Port’s programs related to energy planning, climate action, adaptation and resiliency, as well as air and water quality. Mr. Pettifor is an environmental policy expert, specializing in air and water quality, industrial decarbonization, coastal resource management and climate change adaptation. He has over 20 years of professional experience working on coastal policy and management, water resources and quality, environmental outreach and education, and fisheries projects around the United States and with several sovereign Tribal Nations.
