Dr. Rajeev Ruparathna is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Windsor and a leading researcher in sustainable infrastructure management and resilience. With over a decade of contributions to the field, his work advances digitalization, life-cycle thinking, and resilience planning to address the challenges of aging assets, climate change, and sustainable urban development. At the University of Windsor, he teaches life-cycle thinking, preparing the next generation of engineers to integrate sustainability into infrastructure decision-making. His research portfolio includes multiple funded projects in infrastructure management, climate resilience, and digital transformation, resulting in more than 56 peer-reviewed publications, over 2,441 citations, an h-index of 24, and an i-10 index of 32.
