Matt Scott — Opening Keynote Speaker
Director of Storytelling & Engagement (Project Drawdown)
Matt Scott (He/Him) is a storyteller, speaker, podcaster, and changemaker, and serves as the Director of Storytelling and Engagement at the nonprofit climate solutions guide, Project Drawdown. He is the founding director of Drawdown Stories, where he helps everyday people connect with climate solutions. He also hosts Drawdown’s Neighborhood, a climate solutions docuseries, highlighting local climate heroes across the U.S.
Previously, Matt led global community engagement for NASA’s Space Apps Challenge, the world’s largest problem-solving hackathon, earning three NASA team excellence awards while also collaborating with organizations including the UN, USAID, Nike, and the Obama White House. Matt’s work has been featured by The Weather Channel, National Geographic, Grist, PBS, FEMA, NOAA, the Society of Environmental Journalists, the Hollywood Climate Summit, and more. In addition, he is the founder of Let’s Care, through which he created the film 20s & Change: San Francisco, recognized at three film festivals worldwide.
Marsha Anderson Bomar, F. ASCE, F. ITE, AICP, ENV SP/Trainer — Closing Keynote Panelist
President (American Society of Civil Engineers)
Dr. Marsha Anderson Bomar is a Transportation Strategic Advisor with GHD and a nationally recognized leader in transportation planning, engineering, and infrastructure. She previously served as Interim Commissioner of the Atlanta Department of Transportation, Assistant General Manager for Capital Program Delivery at MARTA, and founded the planning and engineering firms Street Smarts, Inc. and Data Smarts, which were acquired by Stantec in 2010. A Past International President of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and current President of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Dr. Anderson Bomar has received numerous honors for her leadership and service, including ASCE’s William Wisely Civil Engineering Award and ACEC’s Top 100 Influential Women in Georgia recognition. She holds degrees from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn, Princeton University, and the University of Georgia, and is an accomplished author and international speaker on transportation, leadership, and ethics.
Lorenzo Orsenigo — Closing Keynote Panelist
President & General Manager (ICMQ)
Lorenzo Orsenigo currently serves as the President and General Manager of ICMQ S.p.A., a Benefit Corporation and accredited certification body for quality, environmental, and EMAS management systems, BIM, safety, product certification, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and inspection services for the construction and related sectors. Since 2007, he has also served as Vice President of ICMQ, the Certification Institute and Quality Mark for Construction Products and Services. From 2011 to 2018, he was President of Conforma, the Association of Certification, Inspection, Testing, and Calibration Bodies. Since 2001, he has represented ICMQ on Eurocerbuilding, the European Federation of Certification Bodies in the construction sector. Since 2015, he has served on the Board of Eco Platform, the association representing European program operators for environmental product declarations, and since 2020 has been President of AIS, the Association of Sustainable Infrastructures. Since 2025, he has also served as a member of the Strategic Committee of the National Observatory for the Protection of the Sea (ONTM).
Angélica Ospina — Closing Keynote Panelist
CEO (Consejo Colombiano de Construcción Sostenible / Colombia Green Building Council)
With over 18 years of experience, she has been a leading advocate for advancing sustainable construction in Colombia. She has worked as a consultant on truly sustainable construction projects, and she was one of the founders of Colombia Green Building Council (Colombia GBC). In 2017, she became the first person in South America to achieve the prestigious LEED Fellow designation in recognition of her contributions at both the national and international levels. Since 2012, she has also been a lecturer at the Universidad de los Andes. She holds degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, as well as a master´s degree and a PhD from the Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in sustainable construction. In addition, she holds several professional accreditations, including LEED AP BD+C, LEED AP O+M, CASA Professional, and EDGE Expert.
Peter Templeton — Closing Keynote Panelist
President & CEO (U.S. Green Building Council)
Peter Templeton is president and CEO of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI), a role he has held since 2021. During his tenure, he has expanded the organization’s strategy and partnerships to increase the reach and impact of market transformation in the built environment. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Templeton served in senior leadership roles at USGBC, leading global market development. In 2009, he was named the first president of GBCI. He also served as president and CEO of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute from 2018 to 2021. Templeton holds a master’s degree from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University. He has served on the CRREM Foundation Board since 2025.
