Qian Zhang is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP), certified Envision trainer, and LEED Green Associate, with experience in civil and environmental engineering since 2010. She currently serves as a Northeast Project Manager and the North America Envision Coordinator at GHD, where she leads multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and sustainability initiatives. Her project work spans water and wastewater, stormwater, composting, sustainability planning, etc. Qian is passionate about integrating sustainability into engineering practice and fostering inclusive professional communities. In 2025, Qian was recognized as one of ISI’s top three most active Envision trainers globally. She also serves on the ASCE 73 Standard Practice for Sustainable Infrastructure committee and is an active judge and rule committee member for the ASCE Sustainable Solutions Competition, where she mentors students in applying Envision to real-world design challenges.
