ISI Member Spotlight: Granite Construction

ISI is proud to spotlight Granite Construction, one of the largest diversified construction and construction materials companies in the United States and a full-suite civil construction provider.

A longtime ISI member since 2014, Granite has demonstrated strong support for the Envision Sustainable Infrastructure Framework, with more than 20 Envision Sustainability Professionals (ENV SPs) across the organization.

Granite also has experience applying Envision to major infrastructure projects, including the I-4 Ultimate Improvement Project in Florida, a 21-mile reconstruction of Interstate 4 through Central Florida. The project was completed in 2022 and earned an Envision Platinum rating for its sustainability efforts.

This past week, ISI helped celebrate Granite Construction’s fifth annual Sustainability Week with a presentation from ISI President & CEO Anthony Kane on Leading with Envision, delivered alongside Granite Project Executive Brad Jacobson. In addition, Granite’s Sustainability Director, Raven Adams, shared insights and examples of how the company is putting sustainability into practice for a recent ISI blog, Inside Construction.
