Dyan Lee is the director of Marketing and Communications at the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. She oversees branding, messaging, communications, public relations, media relations, social media, advocacy, and content marketing. In her role at ISI, Dyan coordinates and ensures consistency across all communications and marketing materials and helps ENV SPs learn how to advocate on local, state, regional, and federal levels.
Dyan spent thirteen years as a news anchor and reporter for CBS affiliates around the country, earning several awards for excellence in journalism. She also managed communications and marketing departments for a south Florida police department, a Colorado school district, a federally funded nonprofit that fights poverty, and a credentialing agency that works closely with the Department of Defense.
Dyan is educated in political philosophy, economics, and law. She is certified in public relations and crisis management and has taught media relations to police officers and educators.
At ISI, Dyan develops and implements strategies around the growth of Envision, supports the Membership department, the Verification department, and the Education department, and she promotes Envision on the world stage. She also hosts the ‘Sustain or Explain’ (SOE) podcast on LinkedIn and manages the SOE task force.
