Melissa Peneycad is ISI’s managing director. Melissa oversees ISI’s Envision Verification Program and the organization’s communications and research functions. She leads Envision efforts in Canada, is the ISI representative on the Envision Review Board, and supports national and international business development efforts. Prior to joining ISI, her roles have included associate, sustainable development at Stantec Consulting, where she helped establish the firm’s integrated sustainable infrastructure practice; national sustainability program manager at Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Canada where she managed the organization’s sustainable building certification program; and senior sustainability consultant at TerraChoice Environmental Marketing (now UL). Melissa holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) (Queen’s University), a Master’s Degree in environmental studies (York University), and graduate diploma in business and sustainability (York University).
