Manual de orientación de Envision V3 Traducido al español
Washington, D.C., 16 de diciembre de 2021 – Buenas noticias para México, LATAM y los países de habla hispana de todo el mundo: el Manual de Orientación de Envision® V3, para la entrega y medición de la infraestructura sostenible, ya está disponible en español.
Durante los últimos meses, el Instituto para la Infraestructura Sostenible (ISI) y la Federación Mexicana de Colegios de Ingenieros Civiles A.C. (FEMCIC) han trabajado codo a codo para traducir del inglés al español el Manual de Orientación de Envision V3.
Tener el manual de Envision en español significa que más comunidades, organizaciones y personas de todo el mundo pueden aprender el marco de sostenibilidad de Envision, obtener la acreditación de Profesional de Sostenibilidad Envision (ENV SP) y pasar por la verificación de proyectos de infraestructura de terceros de Envision.
El presidente y director ejecutivo de ISI, Anthony Kane, expresó: “Publicamos el Manual de Orientación de Envision en español en un momento en el que la construcción de mejores infraestructuras civiles y la reducción de las emisiones de GEI son más importantes que nunca. Las comunidades de todo el mundo piden soluciones y orientación. La traducción del manual ofrece a las comunidades hispanohablantes lo que necesitan para un resultado exitoso”.
Oscar Cortés, vicepresidente de Relaciones Internacionales y presidente de P3 en la FEMCIC,
sostuvo: “La FEMCIC está orgullosa y muy ansiosa por comenzar con el proceso de Envision. Esperemos que el año que viene podamos celebrar seminarios web y cursos de formación, ahora que tenemos el manual en español. En nuestra organización hay un gran interés en que la gente se certifique en español, y va a haber mucho desarrollo de capacidades. Estamos encantados de volver a construir mejor con Envision”.
La formación de Envision crea un camino hacia la infraestructura sostenible y ayuda a las comunidades y a los equipos de proyecto a verificar que están diseñando y realizando los proyectos correctos de la manera correcta. Las comunidades pueden utilizar Envision para medir la sostenibilidad, la resiliencia y la equidad de sus proyectos de infraestructura civil; esto incluye carreteras, puentes, diques, plantas de tratamiento de agua y aguas residuales, proyectos de aguas pluviales, instalaciones energéticas, aeropuertos, centros de datos y más.
Cualquiera puede utilizar Envision, pero las personas interesadas en la formación de expertos pueden convertirse en profesionales de la sostenibilidad de Envision en línea, a través de talleres virtuales o mediante la formación presencial que se ofrece a lo largo del año. Build Back Better Using the Envision® Sustainability Guidance Manual — Now in Spanish
Envision V3 Guidance Manual Translated into Spanish
Washington, D.C., December 16, 2021 – Good news for Mexico, LATAM, and Spanish-speaking countries around the world: the Envision® V3 Guidance Manual — for delivering and measuring sustainable infrastructure — is now available in Spanish.
ISI president and CEO Anthony Kane and Oscar Cortés, the vice president of international relations and P3 chairman of the Federación Mexicana de Colegios de Ingenieros Civiles A.C. (FEMCIC) discuss the importance of the Envision Spanish manual.
Over the past several months, ISI and FEMCIC worked collaboratively to translate the Envision V3 Guidance Manual from English into Spanish.
Having the Envision manual in Spanish means more communities, organizations, and people around the world can learn the Envision sustainability framework, become credentialed as ENV SPs, and go through Envision third-party infrastructure project verification.
ISI’s president and CEO Anthony Kane said: “We’re releasing the Spanish Envision Guidance Manual at a time when building better civil infrastructure and cutting GHG emissions have never been more important. Communities everywhere are asking for solutions and guidance. Translating the manual gives Spanish-speaking communities what they need to be successful.”
Oscar Cortés, vice president for International Relations & P3 chairman at FEMCICsaid: “FEMCIC is proud and very eager to start with the Envision process. Hopefully, next year we can hold webinars and trainings, now that we have the manual in Spanish. There’s a lot of buzz within our organization to have people certified in Spanish, and there’s going to be a lot of capacity building. We are thrilled to be building back better with Envision.”
Envision training creates a pathway to sustainable infrastructure and helps communities and project teams verify that they are designing and delivering the right projects the right way. Communities can use Envision to measure the sustainability, resiliency, and equity of their civil infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, dams, water and wastewater treatment plants, stormwater projects, energy facilities, airports, data centers, and more.
Anyone can use Envision, but individuals interested in expert training can become Envision sustainability professionals online, via virtual workshops, or through in-person training offered throughout the year.
