How Does Verification Work
Verification is an independent review to confirm that a project meets the Envision evaluation criteria. It helps rate payers and voters have confidence that the project has good value. It also enables projects to become eligible for ISI awards.
After a project team completes the initial project self-assessment using the Envision scoring tool, they can register the project for Verification. ISI will then assign a qualified Verifier to verify or confirm the levels of achievement, required documentation, and final score submitted by the project team. Verifications will usually be completed within a 90 day period from the date of acceptance by ISI.
At least one credentialed Envision Sustainable Professional must be part of the project team for projects registered for Verification.
To qualify for an award, a project must achieve a minimum of the total applicable Envision points.
