Dimitar Todorov, Ph.D., P.E., LEED A.P. BD+C, ENV SP, is a distinguished civil engineer, educator, and researcher with expertise in the design and construction of sustainable civil infrastructure. With over 25 years as a licensed professional engineer, he contributed to more than 700 design and construction projects with a commitment to creating resilient and innovative built environments. Dr. Todorov’s teaching includes building information modeling, advanced building technologies, and interprofessional collaboration for the built environment. His areas of interest in scholarship focus on building information modeling and lifecycle research of sustainable civil infrastructure. He is currently an Associate Professor at Utica University and serves as the program director for the Construction Management program, where he prepares the next generation of construction professionals.
