Hélène Dubé

Environment and Sustainability Manager

Ms. Hélène Dubé graduated in biology and holds a master’s degree in environmental sciences. She has more than 20 years of experience and is working for SNC-Lavalin, an engineering and project management company with more than 50,000 people in over 50 countries. As a project manager, she has been involved in obtaining certifications such as ENVISION, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, LEED, and Green Marine. She also contributed to various environmental studies such as environmental impact assessments, biophysical characterization, environmental permitting and waste management plans. She has been the Envision Lead for the Samuel De Champlain Bridge Corridor Project that obtained an Envision Platinum award —the first Envision project completed in the province of Quebec (Canada). She has also guided the improvement of the sustainability strategy of the Montreal-Trudeau airport redevelopment program. She actively supported the implementation of various environmental management systems and currently collaborates with the environmental team of the Champlain Bridge Deconstruction Project in Montreal. Ms. Dubé also supports the Envision team of the John-F-Kennedy Terminal One project in New York, and is a leader for the development of Envision strategies and the integration of sustainability principles in various projects. She has successfully managed the translation of the Envision manual in French and is also an Envision verifier and trainer.
