Jillian Samowitz fosters positive relationships between ISI and its members, providing support in the areas of member engagement, growth, and retention.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sustainability Studies from the University of Florida and is a Project Management Professional (PMP). Jillian’s sustainability journey began in 2010 when the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill inspired her to create, with her twin sister, a nonprofit called Proseed2Green, focused on environmental education and action. She has given a TEDx talk on the power of youth activism based on her experience in this grassroots movement. Prior to joining ISI, Jillian worked as an Assistant Director of Admission at the Savannah College of Art and Design and as a VIP Tour Guide at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Jillian is based out of Atlanta, GA where she enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons and spending time with her girlfriend and their sweet corgi pup, Willow.
