Nearly 130 Organizations are Celebrating ISI Membership Milestones
This month we’re recognizing all organizations who reached 3, 5, and 10-year membership milestones with ISI in 2024. These companies and public agencies are committed to implementing more sustainable, equitable and resilient infrastructure projects with ISI and Envision.
Envision enables organizations to go beyond the traditional minimum requirements of projects and to focus on the areas that are critical to their long-term success, including: human well-being, mobility and access, community development, economic development, leadership, planning, collaboration, materials, energy, water, siting, conservation, ecology, emissions, and resilience.
Featured agency: Denver International Airport celebrates its 5-year anniversary. One of the busiest airports in the world, DEN is the primary economic engine for the state of Colorado, generating more than $36 billion for the region annually. An Envision Supported Agency with 10 Envision Sustainability Professionals (ENV SPs), DEN has been a member of ISI since January 2019.
Featured company: Hazen and Sawyer celebrates its 10-year anniversary. The firm has collaborated with ISI over the years to support the development and adoption of Envision in the water infrastructure market. An Envision Qualified Company with 27 ENV SPs, the firm has been an ISI member since November 2014. They have worked on numerous Envision projects, including verified projects like the Saco River Water Treatment Plant and the Cocoplum 1 Pump Station.
All together, 47 private sector firms marked ISI membership anniversaries in 2024. One quarter of these AEC firms involved in the planning, design, and construction of new infrastructure have been with ISI for 10 years! They include Tetra Tech, Inc., Michael Baker International, Parsons, Hazen and Sawyer, Keramida, Inc., Keish Environmental, PC., and many others. The remaining 75% joined ISI within the last five years — a clear testament to our accelerating momentum and growing impact. As a decade-old organization, we owe our success to the unwavering support of these companies.
This list of organizations marking ISI anniversaries also includes 81 public sector agencies. As infrastructure owners, these agencies play a key leadership role in advancing sustainable infrastructure through planning and policy development, funding/financing, and design and construction oversight. Many of them have invested significantly in training and growing their ENV SP cohorts as a critical path to delivering on sustainability and project performance goals.
Strikingly, in each of the categories we’re celebrating — 3 years, 5 years, and 10 years with ISI — there were public agencies that had Envision awarded projects in 2024. Here are some examples:
✔️3-year-member Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources, with the Eastern Regional Infrastructure Project (Envision Silver, October 2024);
✔️5-year member Denver International Airport, with Runway 17L-35R Complex Pavement Rehabilitation & Electrical Upgrades (Envision Silver, November 2024); and
✔️10-year member New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC), with the Osborn Street Plaza Project (Envision Verified, January 2024).
