NV5, Director of Civil Engineering

As Director of Civil Engineering, Matthew Nayer, oversees NV5’s talented group of civil engineers to continue delivering practical, sustainable, and innovative solutions for infrastructure improvements sought by both public and private clients throughout New York City. Matt has been with NV5 for 15 years, working primarily on transportation projects, including roadway/geometric design, drainage design, site/civil design, utility engineering, and construction support services. He has played a critical role in many of NV5’s high-profile infrastructure projects, like Red Hook Coastal Resiliency. Throughout his career, he has exhibited great leadership, while consistently growing his body of work and areas of expertise. He is an active member in the American Society of Civil Engineers and is certified both as an Envision Sustainability Professional and in Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines.
