Advancing Concrete Sustainability: The Role of CSC Certification & Envision in the US and Beyond

ENV SP Credential Maintenance hours: 1 Elective hour

Qualification Credentials: RCEP PDH

Sustainability in construction goes beyond material quality—it is about creating a resilient, responsible, and future-ready built environment aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). From reducing carbon emissions to ensuring ethical labor practices and economic resilience, sustainability must be approached holistically. CSC Certification, a global certification system with over 1,366 certificates issued in 24 countries, and the Envision framework play key roles in embedding Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the concrete and infrastructure sectors.

CSC Certification provides a comprehensive assessment of responsible sourcing, covering environmental impact, business integrity, labor rights, and circular economy principles. Envision, on the other hand, evaluates infrastructure projects based on their sustainability performance, integrating management, social, environmental, and economic criteria. Together, these frameworks drive measurable progress, helping industry stakeholders—including producers, developers, and policymakers—enhance sustainability efforts while contributing to global decarbonization goals.

This webinar will explore how the synergy between CSC and Envision supports the transition to more sustainable, transparent, and high-performing construction practices, showcasing real-world applications and best practices from the United States and beyond.
